Im starting to think its getting to be more like pneumonia :o
Started on Friday/Saturday
Don't think i will make it through today we will see.
Its very bad
I appear to wake up with Man Flu on a daily basis. It's either man flu or a hangover, problem with the hangover theory is the lack of alcohol.
Seems to clear up with strong coffee though
Tried to run Morning After today. Managed about 4km before packing. Three weeks of man flu and counting - couldn't stop coughing. Clearly more Penderyn required.
Man Flu isn't supposed to include coughing up blood!
Stef's been badly for days, and I seem to have been struck down too
DT / Stef you have already had your bout of man flu for this season :closed:
A FOTY's life not all it's cracked up to be DT?
I have been on lemsips (3 or 4 a day) for a week now and still feel crap.
Look after yourselves DT & Stef it will pass.
On the plus side, I feel fine :)
Glad your GOOD OHW.
Might give you chance to get some races in.
I still feel rough although I did watch and support at Winter hill.
Heee good point Stagger. I'll have a look in the calendar ;)
ALTHOUGH. I think I may be paying for my smugness. I've had a really niggling sore throat today, which at first I though was just because I was really thirsty, but several large glasses of water today and the throat is worse than ever. Think I may wake up with the lurgy tomorrow  serves me right I suppose :sneaky:
All the classic symptoms of MANflu here. Sniffly nose, sore throat, bit of a head-ache and (most alarming) a loss of appetite for beer :closed:
Again DT??!!!

Well, today I have been (self) diagnosed with a terminal strain of ultra lethal Man Flu.
I fear I am not long for this world, I give myself 24hrs to live.
http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...psa6468628.gif Its arrived at Alf Towers. Just in time for my first fell race for 3 weeks at Coledale  http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...psa6468628.gif
Think I'm starting with a touch of MANflu :closed:
Is this the same thing that Stef had, but said was a sore throat the other day? :closed:
Stef had a bit of a sore-throat, which has moved on to a mild summer cold. I have full-blown, notifiable, Bubonic MANflu. I'm touch and go, err, obviously :closed:
Oh, and OHW if I don't make it you can tell Baby OH what a great forumite I was and maybe when they're old enough tell them about when I won FOTY and what a modest sort of a chap I was too :closed:
Oh dear, you have it bad, but of course I will do so DT. Hope you pull through!
Man Flu
It's got me.
Im not long for this world.
Good god.
Brain splitter head ache.
Mucus eruption of Mount St Helens proportions. With associated sporadic phlegm from throat expulsions.
Extreme fatigue.
Everything aches.
Awful sleep quality.
Massively overheating, immediately followed by cold sweats then unable to get warm.
Doom approaches me.
