37.7 miles to Fleet Moss according to the tally card. :)

Checkpoint distances from start:
3.8, 6, 8.9, 12.4, 13.5, 16.3, 18.5, 20.5, 24.8, 27.8, 29.5, 32.1, 33.1, 35.8, 37.7, 42.4, 43.2, 44.8, 46.2, 49, 50.5, 52.2, 54.7, 59, 61.

Pilgrim just pipped me at the post; I didn't bring last year's punch card to work with me (for some unearthly reason :)) but had just guestimated 38 miles in my head. Cray is about the 44 mile point and thats where I got grouped last year.

Just taken a last minute decision to drive up in the morning. It's a 2:30 drive but I know I'll get more sleep at home than on the floor in some school hall. Hate making last minute changes but I think it's the right choice

Sorry I plan to drive upto Thresfield for just after 5AM, dump my car and maybe even get the breakfast I've paid for, before grabbing the bus.

Ahhh... but have you factored in all the side to side meandering and staggering?

My "speed" last year, running with a crippled ankle, was 3.412962 mph. This year I'm aiming for 3.7578757 mph, although I'll happily settle for 3.6470588.................. :D ;)
