Me, but I don't post as much as I used to. That FB thingy seems to have poached many original forumites :-(

Me too Stagger!
Sad thing mapper is how many forumites have been taken by the grim reaper, not FB 🙁
Anyone seen Swoop lately.
I last saw him at a park run in Leeds.
Now he's also a top bloke who i owe a lot to in fell running terms.
Please can I claim my place in the Jan 2007 club?
As for Swoop, I've just looked him up on Runbritain rankings and I'm happy to say he still seems to be going strong (mainly Parkruns and road races).
Andy, don't forget that there's a halfway house between Facebook and the Grim Reaper. It's called the LDWA.
Coincidentally Phil me and our Stef have just re-joined the LDWA. Hope you’re okay
Oh, and great to here Swoop is good
Anyone dun owt this Easter?
Parkrun yesterday and a race today. Did you get over to Rivi?
Good on yer Tom.
Narr. Not running at this time.
Put 3 stone on during divorce.
Just starting to get happy again now.
Next job is weight loss and fitness.
Hope to see you around soon buddy👍
Nightmare 5 hour journey from Cov up to the Lakes on Friday, followed by a quick jaunt up Wansfell to loosen up.
Saturday race in absolutely foul conditions, followed by Cumberland Sausage, Chips, and Steak & Ale Pie from the chippy, and watched Juventus vs AC Milan before an early night.
Today a quick journey back, hour in the gym to stretch out after the race, and look after my nephew.
Tomorrow another gym session and a haircut, back to work Tuesday.
Cracking day yesterday. Cut the lawn for the first time. Garden is looking tidy.
Managed a couple of nights in Holmrook with some nice walks in the Wasdale valley. Cracking little B&B👍
Couldn't cut the lawn. It was occupied.

The Shhh don’t tell anyone ;) my Mum was born in Kirkland and learnt to swim in Ennerdale, the Lake is where she now rests :) a truly beautiful part of the country, although Mrs DTR wasn’t too impressed with the scramble around the bottom of Anglers crag last time we took the dog around the lake
:D
I struggled around Anglers Crag last year at the end of a long run which began on the high moorland road to the west of Lank Rigg, ending up descending the NW ridge of Pillar (including a very troublesome section through the trees in Ennerdale Forest to get onto the forestry path, and back along the lake shore. All things considered, I may well have been better off taking the better path on the north shore, despite the additional distance!
You probably would :) the guidebooks do the rate the lake walk as easy but I seem to recall a walker fatality on Anglers Crag only a few years back so perhaps not as easy as it seems, I do believe that the lake bed is littered with hotel crockery from the Anglers hotel which the guys demolishing skimmed across the lake and can remember my Granda in the seventies horsing off through the bushes on the North Shore and coming back with antique bottles from various old tips around the lake shore. Great Memories
It's one of the few areas I've never visited properly. Never got further down the valley than Cockley Beck, and no further up than Ulpha coming the other way. I have ran over Green Crag and Harter Fell, but from the Devoke Water side and dropping down into Eskdale.
Would love to do the Duddon Fell Race as well, but it comes at a particularly congested time of the year!
Stayed in Eskdale, just round the corner from the village shop in Eskdale Green. Fantastic for running/walking, so many great start points.... Birker Fell Road, Boot, Woolpack, Brotherilkeld, Wha House Farm. One of the nicest runs I did was almost a reverse of the Eskdale Elevation fell race, starting at Wha House, up onto Slight Side and Scafell, down to Burnmoor, missed out the Screes and dropped down to Boot. Wild and lonely ground all the way. Fantastic. And not forgetting the Upper Eskdale/Lingcove area, absolutely wild around there. Although I found to my cost that it's a lot easier to follow the South Ridge of Esk Pike towards Lingcove, than to drop down to Ore Gap/Green Hole, that was a particularly arduous route choice, but very quiet (not surprisingly).
The Duddon is wonderful but I’m slightly concerned you guys are using QAH to discuss serious matters. You’ll have Wheeze after you . . . 😀
Lovely quiet morning. First Hot Air Balloon of 2018 over Lathkill Dale.
Cracking weather today
Too True Trev'......was more than hot being (Marshall) Sweeper for the Hayfield Chicken Run, more than sweaty at the back, great views of Kinder and beyond, a more than special day, really good turn out to for Hayfield Primary School's Fun Day, give it a go you folks, it is a cracking run....and a creaking one too in my case :-)
VVQAH. Our Vizsla is with friends 😥
God’s country Ian, and me a man of the Midlands. Hope you enjoyed it. Saturday evening was truly wonderful
I’ve been out tonight not far from Denby Pottery for an ale or three, and spicy South Asian food
Anyone dun owt this weekend?
Birthday party Friday
Stag do Sat
Cut the grass and short cycle today
Great weekend!!
Weekend in Devon - walking everyday plus two shingle runs
Weekend off the bike, apparently the 50 milers are screwing with my Yin, the 3 pints of ale at the Craven Arms should be offsetting it though...
Started a fresh book on quantum mechanics, had to abandon the other one because i got a bit baffled by tangled heirarchies. Bell's Theorem is doing my head in a bit too, i think i'll just take their word for it- nonlocality is real.
Saturday morning looked after my little 3 year old nephew. Lots of reading, and then hiding in bed from the "elephants and pentagons" which were coming up the stairs apparently (his idea not mine!)
Then the road relays Saturday afternoon.
Sunday morning a big hill session in the gym. Sunday a quick jaunt into Coventry City Centre, picked up a few books from the library....
Boff Whalley's book.... absolutely no offence but I read it start to finish in half a day but it isn't one I'd read again... the writing is great but just isn't my sort of book.
A book about triathlon which is written by a friend and clubmate... more reading it for the novelty value of knowing the author...
Then a Wainwright type guide to the Snowdonia mountains which I hope will give me some inspirational gems for the upcoming UTS race. Haven't started this yet.
All topped off with a healthy dose of Italian football, the finest league in the world. Absolutely fascinating this year. Yet another twist this weekend.
Still quiet around here!?
Good to have you back Heathens.
How you doing?
Woah! Hold the press!! The Heathens speaks! Maybe he really is Alex Ferguson who broke cover to trade crocodile smiles with his old mate Wenger! I think we should be told.
Me too - are you really Sir Alex?
A day at the hospital for me. Got a lift into Sheffield this morning off a friend that works there then the bus back this afternoon. MrRTS is working away in NI but as it was only talking treatment options I told him to leave me to it.
I have a skin cancer (BCC) on my face right next to my nose and I've been discussing treatment options since last November. Anyway today it looks like we have finally arrived at an option.
To be fair they were really good today and had a good look under strong light to check my face and neck. 2 more just starting areas but as they are just surface skin they should be sorted by cream. Doesn't sound very nice stuff though! Then went to have photos taken before heading down into Sheffield to get the bus home.
It's not malignant as I had a biopsy in February. Not worried or stressed about it, I just wish they would get it done. Looks like 3-4 months before surgery. I will attend in the morning and they keep taking more away while I wait between treatments until they get clear cells. After that the plastic surgeon gets his/her chance to try to fix it. I have asked for a chin tuck and eyebrow lift but not sure that that is an option.
Now home and enjoying quiet time with the dogs. :-)
