A minor victory

I am now engaged in a titanic struggle with a road race organiser to see if I can get away with paying the unattached levy now that I have a shiny England Athletics card... :eek:

merrylegs - am I right in thinking your BG is fixed to start on the evening of Friday 25th June?
(I need to ink it into my diary so I can work round it ;) )

apparently he's in the FRA and has "sympathy for my position", so will accept my entry as "attached" :cool:

If you've an England athletics card then i'd imagine you're ENTITLED .....clearly he's a tit, but then he organises a race under UKA rules......no i-pods or MP3 players allowed by the way under UKA rules......and I aint joking.....they even announce it over the tannoy occasionally at some races...
