I am now engaged in a titanic struggle with a road race organiser to see if I can get away with paying the unattached levy now that I have a shiny England Athletics card...

apparently he's in the FRA and has "sympathy for my position", so will accept my entry as "attached"
now wondering whether to push my luck and ask to be listed in the results as Fell Ponies...

If you've an England athletics card then i'd imagine you're ENTITLED .....clearly he's a tit, but then he organises a race under UKA rules......no i-pods or MP3 players allowed by the way under UKA rules......and I aint joking.....they even announce it over the tannoy occasionally at some races...A minor victory
