I did my first headtorch run last night! Only five miles along the canal, mind, but I only fell over once, -which I thought was good.
I've walked in the dark before, but I enjoyed the run. didn't seem noticeably slower than my usual slow pace, but no stop-starty bits 'cos of other dogs etc, so it was certainly different. I'd definitely do it again!
8 miles 6400ft....dont ask how just some serious hill reppage
5 miles, about 3 feet...
oh well, I can only get better!
1.5m jog with Mrs.Merrylegs, 2mins rest then another 1.5m jog again with Mrs.Merrylegs and 26lb rucksack, she beat me in a sprint finish:o
3m furthest she's ever done, well done mrs;)
Off for a 5m trot on my own now in an attempt to clear the world's supply of snot from head before Tanky's:D
5 x 1 mile in Heaton Park. Not much climbing involved and def no need for a head torch this morning!!!
Warm up and warm down totalling a 10 mile morning.
1hr31 around Chevin & Danefield, plenty of hills and mud.
Had a natter with Wharfedale Harriers webmeister in car park afterwards - he'd cycled there from sunny Lothersdale:)
Successfully not run for a month!!
