That's a fair bit to lose in 4 weeks. Which of the following strategies will you be adopting
1. Less food.
2. Less beer.
3. More running?

Well done Stef you have achieved the "Fat neutral" level. You just need to increase the running a bit and the pounds will fall off
The system works.

I'm intending to scare the wobble out of the lard and have it packing it's bags and sprinting off faster than it could say chocolate cake!!!
Bring on more lettuce pickled onions and tomatoes....say no to crisps, cakes, chocolate and sugary drinks, oh and more running of course!

Re: Overweight Confessions
We need to keep a tally of all lbs lost
Then when we have a total we can equate it something real, like, as a whole, the FR Forumites have lost the equivilant weight in lard to a small sheep (or something :o).

It's pretty impressive when you put it like that !!!
I think i will wait until 17th (official weigh in) to update my weight. Suspect it won't be much but between us surely we can manage a toddler....:eek:

Two apples today. Cox's
Porrage for breakfast + glass of cranberry juice (approx 400)
2 slices of bread with cheese & onion filling lunch (approx 450)
Fish teacake + carton of peas for tea (approx 700)
2 apples, 3 kiwis, 1 orange for me today (300)
1850 not too bad although on the positive I did 30 minutes in gym 10k on exercise bike at 105rpm and 2k rowing. Approx 300cal's off
Becareful DT, fruit still has calories.
Approx 60 for a medium apple.

Re: Overweight Confessions
I'm going to take a time out, I'm full of a cold or something and can't exercise much at the moment. That said I have dropped four pounds.
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
Can't resist it. I am now 4 pounds down, the weight of 1.8 bags of sugar. Half the ideal weight of the average pet cat.

I've lost the weight of a largish helium balloon (-6lbs:o).

Re: Overweight Confessions
193 on the Scales this morning! I'm having Pizza for lunch to celebrate!
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
Nothing lost yet. Might need to get some new scales though. Weighed the cat and she can't possibly weigh that much...

How much does the cat weigh according to your scales?

6lbs and she's just a bag of bones and fur, poor old girl (lovely though). So I reckon she's about 4lbs - which could give me a 2lb minus bonus!

I don't think that's bad for less running, & trying to keep a sensible diet going
Whilst 'small-child' & SWMBO were trying to stick to their 'New Years Resolution' last night, they had the 'Wii-Fit' out*
So, during the start-up, we did the weight/BMI bit.......
I came in at 10stone 5 (in jeans, zip-up fleece top & t-shirt)
I daredn't even type what it showed for either of them, just in case SWMBO has a nosey at this site, or reads the topics over my shoulder one night.....
I will say though that SWMBO weighed considerably more than me, & she's 4" shorter
*Show how often it's used, it showed something like 420 days since last body-test!!!
Does anyone know how accurate they are???

ERMMM!!!! No guessing the cat's weight and then subtracting the difference for your own weight, that is cheating ;)
I weighed our fat cat last night - 10lb of lard :o
