Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
Will be there. Are you running the race tomorrow?
Lets hope its not as bad as Carneddau last year, as if anything could be worse.
Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
Hey up Johnnyb1
Yes. See you there. Looks like
We may get a bit damp
Cheers Steve
Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
Just thought I needed a race this weekend: something not too strenuous, short & not too serious. Looks like just the job - may see you there.:w00t:

Don't forget to turn around at the top. Its not an ultra;)
Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
Great race as ever, good weather and nice underfoot too.
Added to the fact that I learnt some new route choices and somehow managed to run like someone had put EPO in my coffee, it was a pretty good day.
Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
Excellent outing: good to meet up with both of you (sbrt & Johnnyb1). Hardly wet anywhere, apart from the little soggy meadow. A pleasant little scamper: I enjoyed the views. Fell races are always good for me psychologically: because I'm slow uphill I spend the 2nd half of the race passing people. Always feels good, especially when I'm knackered. And I didn't fall over once - maybe I wasn't trying hard enough.
Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
Many thanks to all who made the Ras y Gader/Cader Idris race happen. You did us proud again:thumbup:

Apologies to Splatcher and Johnny. You were both too fast for me to get a picture;)

Johnny was: don't put me in the same bracket as him, Steve. He was 12th overall - faster than a speeding train!
Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
I made that 11 miles on my Garmin, anyone else?
Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
Cool pics SBRT - something a bit different.
Yeah i got 11 mile on my watch. Not the easiest 11 either. :-)
Re: Ras Y Gader/Cader Idris
Thanks Athers.
Out and back races, are the only time I ever get near enough, to get photos of the fast runners (most are fast compared to me).
Some much better framed pics by Al Tye here http://www.fellrunningpictures.co.uk/rasygader2013.html Check out the jumping for joy? album:thumbup:
