Love the training idea ZHR, sounds ace 'fun'.
Just managed 30mins on turbo trainer, all the time in tuck position so just getting used to it. Not bad for tonight as usually homelife says no training on a tuesday. :)

Blooming icy again this morning, the roads to my usual trail run were deadly. Comfy 5 with 100o ft climb on local trails, fresh snow on ice, so running wasnt easy, but it was lovely and bright.

4 easy miles - last run of the week before doing something called the May Hill Massacre, near Gloucester, this coming Sunday. 8 and a bit miles with a 1000 ft of up. It's meant to be a mud bath.
8 hilly road miles around the Strines Valley, plenty of fresh snow over ice to keep you on you toes
30min reverse split run round the streets by my hotel with 8.5kg pack: 15mins out, try to beat the time back (9secs over:o)
Then to the gym for a 15min row followed by a fairly tough total body circuit:
10 x handclap press ups
30 medicine ball twists
60 alternate leg thrusts
20 dumbell raises (alternate 10 to front, 10 to side)
20 dorsal raises
20 box jumps
No rest between each exercise. Above is one set. 1 min rest between sets. 4 sets.
Some back/shoulder weights, then a good stretch session.
Rounded off with a dip in the pool. Swam a few lengths, and then 'ran' a few lengths to finish off
Nice and steady 3 miles, should be ready for Wadsworth on saturday now, although my calves are hurting a bit due to all that hard ground on Sunday/Monday :/
Nailed the whole run in forefoot strike and it felt smooth and quick.
INJURED...ffs
