I'm having pastry trouble:( The shortcrust is a bit short!!
I have a plan and if all else fails it'll will become a crumble:cool:

1 deep filled apple pie (purely organic;) ) in th'oven!
Crumbles next! Had a shed load of cooking apples to use up - we'll be eating crumbles for weeks!
Daz - you mean a proper pie not pie crust and shortcrust as oppose to puff pastry??
it's getting the stock (sauce/gravy) the right flavour and consistency as oppose to just bunging a load of veg in:rolleyes:
