Hooray, new Fellrunner mag. Just the thing to read while resting and icing my sprained ankle. It's testing my tolerance because I want to get out running!

Well done Britta and your team. Another great publication.
Thanks from the Staggers.
Brilliant well done Brita and team BEST YET no contest for me the FELLRUNNER MAG win`s I am staying in to read it
Great article on The King Of The Fells Bill Teasdale MBE. When i was last round at Bills house in October he mentioned something about this. A true sporting legend and in my opinion the greatest fell racer ever as his record shows:thumbup:
Great reading and NB 101s on the cover too! My favourite bit was from the write up of the Shelf Moor race; " The course was well-watered overnight, ensuring that none of the runners suffered from dry feet,".
got mine too today , thats my tea breaks taken care of for foreseable future
WOW. Bumper pack again, thanks to all concerned. So big it split the envelope in several places
Thanks all, another great issue:thumbup:
MrRTS and I have a membership each rather than the family one to stop just this sort of awful event happening!! All smiles and page turning noises :-).
Great mag as always. Well done guys. We got a mention in one of the race reports too. Oooo fame for being last lol
Perhaps mine might arrive tomorrow.
Please?
cor blimey, you could use that tome on a burglar and be done for excessive force!
looking forward to Shelf's Great Alps Run article! And the rest of it, of course!
I concur there certainly dodgy nick ;-)
My wife phoned to let me know its arrived, even my surley 16 year old daughter was reading it last night. Looks like a good weekend ahead at Centre Parcs reading an already well thumbed copy of FR.
Ooo er - haven't got to page 61 yet :w00t:
Yep, thanks to all involved in the mag. It's always great to receive. Can't wait to read it properly tonight.
Bah. Still not arrived.
I only sent off my membership application last month and the summer edition (that I have already seen) arrived yesterday.
Yes a great achievement, but when Bill raced at Alva they only ran approx two thirds of the way up the fell in them days. When Bill was 47 years old he came out of retierment and finished 3rd at Alva and just shows how good a runner he was. Mind you Harry 2 more wins for you at Alva will see you equal Bill's total but i think that Tommys 12 wins will take some beating.
It hasnt reached the Isle of Man yet :(
Forgot the new magazine was due so big surprise yesterday to find it in my mail box. Problem is I have just read it and was hoping to save it for my flight to Holland Saturday for a race. Suppose I could always read it again.
it caught my eye as I was putting something else in my bag this evening, anyone else notice it? The red, gold and black bands of Pennine colours on the spine? A nice touch.
WOW. What a fantastic read, can't put it down, mine split the envelope too.
Thanks to everyone that contributes to such a fantastic magazine, even my sister was browsing it last night. Love the photo on the front too Ian.
It arrived today but thanks for the previews folks
Always excited when the mag comes through the letter box and this issue is great. Nice to see the piece about Daz H and the supplement is fantastic. Plus its inspired me to get some more training in after a lean few months running wise. Thank you and well done to all involved.
Mine was waiting on the doormat in its ruptured envelope when I arrived home yesterday. Thank you once again to all the creators of yet another masterpiece and tribute.
Found mine buried among a pile of paper in a corner in the Kitchen - total disrespect.
I think I had one too many peppermint teas last night as I thought I saw at one point a picture of people running in crash helmets! :)
Really enjoyed the article on Jura. Felt more like a little adventure story than a race report.
Go to page 5 and read Graham Bs comments in the commentary. Wasn't Narcissus the name of a youth in Greek mythology who fell in love with his own reflection in a pool?
Go to picture 1 on page 180 to find the answer!:)
Arrived today, almost out of its envelope entirely. Who says fellrunners can't kick their way out of a paper bag? I've skimmed through about half of it, & I'm looking forward to settling down to read it properly.
