4.2 miles , very easy 8.00 mile pace
Sunday Duddon Valley fell route 20 miles.......Monday am 8.5 mile hilly route 6.30 pace....Monday pm 4.6 mile inc 10 1 minute intervals.......Tuesday am 20 mile Cycle +Core Session at Gym..Tuesday pm 8 mile Fartlek road run.
50 mins on an excercise bike... achilles fine, bum not! Tried switching to a treadmill... bum fine, achilles not.:mad:
Warm up, 20 mins hill reps, fall down:eek: ;) :D
Undulating (210m climb) road 8 miler in 8min miles, feeling comfy after yesterdays sess.
All this is aiming for the Lakes Classics via the Windermere marathon. Not sure about time as it is quite uppy-downy, and I have a tendency to drift off on long road runs. Anyway I would be happy with 3:30 but who knows?

52 mins to Post Hill & back via field paths.
Horton-Pen-y-Ghent-Ribblehead-Horton- about 17 mile- 3 hours- not my usual self, felt tired and weak, hope it was just a bad day. The first time I haven't felt like doing all three.
A good !0 mile on the roads tonight, 7 of which was with Sinatra and Tryfan from the forum.
Moel Tryfan Fell Race, supposedly 6km, really shouldn't have raced after the Mournes, hamstrings tight and just felt empty. Not very wise move really.
3 easy, flat miles through the woods in Ripponden, pleasant weather:)

A short 3.78 mile in 25 min on the Treadmill at work this afternoon while the students used the multi-gym.
Last night a 5 mile club run, frustratingly still on the road and it was a flat road too :mad:. Running with a bunch of taperers for the London Marathon :rolleyes:.
Tonight a glorious 6.5 mile run off road in the hills on my tod - ahhhhhhh that's better.
Sod training today, shoveled a tonne of grit out of a blocked drain at 3am in the morning, think i deserve a rest:rolleyes: Might go out on me bike when i get up this aft though:cool:
Cracking night fell run with two friends last night based around Black Hill and Holme Moss. Turned out a bit longer on account of getting "lost" in the woodland bits around Yateholme. 2 1/2 hours at night with the moon and stars out. Perfect - what better way to spend an evening? :rolleyes:

Swift 10 miles on singlespeed crosser, was going to be flat and easy but couldn't resist a blast up Ripponden bank at the end. Thought i was going pretty fast till a snail passed me and said "Struggling, mate?":eek:
4.5 mile on the treadmill again today at 6.37 pace. Back to the roads tomorrow.
Snowdon from Llanberis, quite deep snow from 2000ft, hard going in the snow, made the summit in 57, then down the Ranger, great running in deep powder snow, then up Cynghorion and back to Llanbers. 10.5 miles, 1135m ascent, 1:46.
was giong to go for a run at lunch but just been informed that i have got to go to a lunchtime meeting.... pizza provided :rolleyes: it's a hard life :D

75 miles on the bike at the weekend through Malham, Kettlewell and Grassington, then about 10 mile run in the rain up Beamsley Beacon last night. Going well for the Fred Whitton - only four weeks to go...
The weeks training;
bike to work and back mon, tue, wed & thu 9 miles e/w.
tue - dropped car off for service/mot and ran 2.3 miles in 16 min to station,
followed by 5 miles in 37 mins off the train at other end to home.
wed - 18 miles on bike to pick car up.
fri - 8 miles to work, puncture :( pump f*cked. tram home.:mad:
bolton 10k on sunday, hoping for pb after getting one last week in oldham 1/2

13.53 mile on the roads this morning around Crotnon, Rainhill & Whiston.
10k on road today,in a reasonable time of 40:19 i like to think:o here's hoping for a sub 40:00 soon.
6.6 miles today over hobson moor it was very very wet :D
recce the new Ravenstones route this morning with pudgy, sleet up here at the moment, happy days.
45 minute hill session was bloody hard :eek:
