Don't know Calf but, there were no Pink vests at Ambleside on Sat thats for sure which was a shame 'cos the weather was absolutely perfect. Sunshine, breeze and a light frost, even the mud had dried up, mostly, from previous weekend.

There was a pony up and around Coniston Old Man and the 3 Shires Stone, but he was wrapped up warm, bloody cold and snowy up there, hooves like blocks of ice, windswept:eek: but fantastic views down into Seathwaite around Hardknott and could even see the Scafells:cool:

After discovering Merrylegs is a member of the ponies, ive just decided to google it. After two attempts, the first where i ended up on a on site about horses and ponies:rolleyes:

When i found what i was looking for, i saw its says, 'no fees, no fuss.....Just get in touch to have a vest ordered.

Is it really as simple as just ordering a vest?......

.....Depends whether you all would want me running for you?

Simple as that, Al. You can still be a member of a proper club if you so wish, some ponies are. You'd be welcomed by everyone. The Ponies are a good bunch, its just there's no club training nights, its up to you.
Personally it's the best thing i've done, and my parole officer is happy with it:D
