How long do you cook them for Moley? I got some at the weekend, but overcooked them and they went a bit soggy. Not home grown though... Next years crop...

Had a bit of a courgette overload recently as the colleague is growing triffid size courgette plants that produce monstrously large courgettes. One lasted me:
- stuffed with a veggie chillie with feta cheese, in the oven...
- in a pasta sauce
- fried courgette beignets
- courgette soup
and that was where I still had about 1/4 left but could not face another evening meal that involved courgette...:cool:

Try courgette in chocolate cake, interesting recipe in my allotment book. Have to grow some more and I can actually try it...
We have three plants and they're providing about 1 day at the moment.
Here's my top recipe tip: try them grated and then fried quickly in a small amount of butter - lovely.
