    4 miles of walking and jogging, then i came home, had a shower etc, then went to work, then i got the bus to work only cos i was late, and i walked home from work which is 2 miles, and i fast walked, and i am knackered!

    Going to have chicken soup and hovis for my tea!

    Missed club night so a fast 4.2 miles in 31.32mins - usual mix of completely flat towpath and some short steepish hills. Long slower-paced run tomorrow.

    Tonights race was 'Cakes of Bread' 5.5 miles 1500ft a very tough club race.

    took around 52 minutes and came 8? out of 45ish.

    good pint in the pub afterwards. pity about the bar staff!

    Good little race that, more "runnable" than I expected. 57:30 for 19th (out of 48).

    Which pub did you alight to afterwards then?

    Ladybowyer Inn The beer was good Farmers Blonde. Bar staff miserable also Blonde

    well my legs are truely shot now


    Parked at Yorkshire Bridge Nr Lady Bowyer

    Up Parkin clough to Winn Hill, down and up to Lose Hill, Down to Nether Booth and past YH and up Lady Booth to Druids Stone along to Ringing Roger and down through Edale and up to Mam Tor going direct as soon as I reach access land followed ridge back to Lose hill where I reversed my route to Winn Hill.
    Couldn't face the clough so ran down through the wood and back along res.

    Completely bonked on the last climb. but at least I got 5 major climbs in

    16.5 miles 5,300ft

    I AM GOING TO REST NOW!!!

    Resting up meself before Saturday, took a chunk out of my leg hopping over a stile going up to Lost Lad. Shin's swollen up like a balloon now!
