ah actually I did hear about that run, derby tup - at a wedding that weekend ... phew ...
14 miles/2 hours from home. Decided this would be more beneficial to a slightly sore achilles than the Coiners race.
Did 8x400m with 45 sec recoveries on the sports field off Cemetery Road. A nice way to spend a Monday morning.
Hill reps, in between marshalling Coiner's jnr races to keep warm, cos daft sod me cycled there in me shorts![]()

(FRI) About 8 miles from Bradfield to Fairholmes (Derwent Dam) via Sugworth Moscar and Derwent Edge. But when I got there THE BLOODY CAFE WAS CLOSED
(TODAY) Same distance same start and finish but this time via Back Tor. Wind and rain on the top but a cracking arvo. The Cafe was OPEN!!!
Felt good and strong (for me) on both occasions.
