    now then, interesting

I was looking into the trionium munro (half-mara), which is now full, and then got into contemplating the full-mara, the trionium picnic, which could be hard work, especially starting at 2pm in the middle of June ...

and now you chuck this into the mix squire ...

North Downs 30K is a nice event. Well organised, excellent cakes iirc and spot prizes - I got one for being 'Northern'!

14 miles/2 hours from home. Decided this would be more beneficial to a slightly sore achilles than the Coiners race.

Did 8x400m with 45 sec recoveries on the sports field off Cemetery Road. A nice way to spend a Monday morning.

    Re: Today's Training

(FRI) About 8 miles from Bradfield to Fairholmes (Derwent Dam) via Sugworth Moscar and Derwent Edge. But when I got there THE BLOODY CAFE WAS CLOSED

(TODAY) Same distance same start and finish but this time via Back Tor. Wind and rain on the top but a cracking arvo. The Cafe was OPEN!!!

Felt good and strong (for me) on both occasions.
