I'm now not running FToP - slightly annoying but it will just take up too much of the day which unfortunately conflicts with my 14 year old's far more important Saturday itinerary .

Probably do a ten mile trudge of my own instead. Good luck everyone - it will be supremely muddy and glorious.

We have a point of commonality, my last 2 sat long runs which were planned to get some miles in for this were stopped cos of drama practice and parties!!!

Yet when I suggested she get up at 5.30am to come to the whinlatter duathlon I got a drop dead look.

Your right, it will be exacerbated if you don't find the racing lines as well, stray of course or take the more well used trods and they are alot more boggy and enery sapping.
