That would be some going Rob. My best on a flat 10 is 65 minutes. On this course it's 70 but I think I'll be 2 or 3 minutes slower than that on Sunday. You're right about the atmosphere - it must be the shared pain on those hills. It's also very quaint to finish in the castle courtyard.
I ran 73min there last year but have since run 62min at Eccup and a few 38min off road 10k's so it's not an unachievable figure, but will be hard work. Looking forward to it though, as I said, it's a cracking race.
