You guys (apart from Stolly ) make me feel sooooooo much better! Whenever I am being told I have too many shoes in the future, I shall refer the critics to this thread. My shoe rack is positively bare compared to yours

I thought I was bad....
X-Talons 212
Mudclaw 270
Roclite 295
Mizuno Ascends
Nike Pegasus
Saucony Fastwitch
...but thanks to everyone else I now feel justified in having just bought a pair of La Sportiva XCs.
Just need to try and sneek them in the house past Mrs S. (She is not a fell runner - mainly road and the odd trail - but even she has 5 pairs of shoes.)
My shoes:
1 x road shoes - can't remember which brand, rarely used nowadays.
1 x INOV8 mudclaws 333s, used all the time and are brilliant.
1 x INOV8 trailroc 255s used a lot for three months but will go back to roclite 315s
1 x Saucony xc spikes (not used for 2 years)
I am going to get another pair of Roclite 315s because they are my favourite long distance off-road shoe and I should have stuck with them rather than get suckered into buying the trailrocs.

Not too bad here!
2 X New Balance MT110
1 X New Balance Minimus Trail 10
1 X Inov8 X-Talon 212
1 X Inov8 Mudclaw 300
1 X Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra
Probably use the MT110's the most, such a top class versatile shoe and for £35 you can't go wrong!!
[QUOTE=fellgazelle;520405]Sticking strictly to running shoes, my current collection:
4 x X-Talon 212 (in varying states of decay)
So, almost brand new then
Oh, forgot my track spikes (Sub 4). Never worn them (they were cheap!!)
I hope some of you have got handbags to match your massive trainer collection! (I'm just jealous.)
For me:
Fell
Mudclaw 333s for recces and hill reps when it's muddy
X Talon 212s for races
Trail
Saucony Peregrine and Inov8 Roclite 285s - interchanged depending on what's dry at the moment! They never both are.
Just bought some more Peregrine (£50 on Sports Shoes) as current ones are more holes than trainer.
Road
Neutron something or other, but had them for 2 years and are probably worn out
Adidas Adios for racing - brilliant trainers, only used once so far with nothing else lined up till October so will last a while.

I don't understand why it would be an issue for your other half if you bought a pair of shoes? I have never understood this... Is this why I am single??? I'd buy a pair of shoes without consent from my partner?

Think I have a problem-
Salomon - Fellcross Slab 1, XTwings Slab 5, Speedcross, XR Crossmax.
Saucony - Fastwitch 5 x 2 1 for racing 1 for training, Kilkenny spikes, Peregrine's.
Nike, Air Pegasus.
Inov-8, Talon 212s, Mudclaw 300s.
I like to think im prepared
Good going down !!
