Any potential issues that I should be aware of before running in mud claws without footbeads? (before a set of 3mm footbeds arrrive) ??

Hi
I don't know about mudclaws, but I use both my f-lite 195s and my x-talon 190s with out footbeds as it makes my feet feel like they are fitting the shoe more securely.
You feel the pointy stones more!! I have run in mine (330) with no footbeds for a year and find they are a better fit and more secure aswell. As for pointy stones, if the route was mainly hard path trail etc and i didnt need the grip I'd be wearing my Roclite 295...
Great, thanks for the replies.
I too have Roclite's for the harder trail's, and love them.
The Claws (330's) are just a little neat on my foot with the standard 6mm footbeds (I have a wide foot). I am going to try a set of 3mm footbeds, but will also now try without either.
Cheers
Yep, every running shoe that I've had for the last two years, I've just removed the footbeds. Better ground feel and fit. The only problem I've had is with X-talons 212, where the seams rubbed the outside of both big-toes. X-talon 190 doesn't seem to have this issue so far.
I use my 270s without footbeds most of the time. Only problem I find is running any routes with large tarmac descents where you can feel the studs digging in. Otherwise, they are much nicer to run in and very stable on the foot.
