Anyone know the route this race takes?
I'm presuming from Fitz Park around the lefthandside (as the Skiddaw race route)? But then what? To the top? over the fields toward Threlkeld then back along railway?

I think i did this a few years back and seem to recall running up the way THE Latrigg race comes down then along the ridge, across a fields, towards a farm before dropping right and coming back along the side and hitting the big track - really good fast race, one to make the hamsters sore!

The route follows the same start as the Skiddaw race to the car park then goes round the back of Latrigg before dropping down to the old railway line and returning to Fitz Park.

You could even join in Keswicks club run tomorrow - a guided tour of the route - at 6.15, err pm that is!

Whilst I was fighting a losing battle with midges and flying ants, oh and doing a bit of marshalling, Ricky Lightfoot won the mens race and Sarah Tunstall broke Jackie Hargreaves 10 year old record in winning the ladies race. Can't remember the actual times but results should be up fairly soon. Good to see a selection of forumites racing!

I believe Sarah failed by 12 seconds to get the record. Kinda my fault that, because I let her catch me on the flat run in (because I was unsure of the exact route back into the park), and then proceeded to chat to her as we ran home.
Smashing race though, an amazing performance by Ricky I thought - Ive never see anyone run away from Simon Booth with such ease before.

I got 6th -my first prize in a fell event - I thought it would never happen.

We checked just after prizegiving - she did get it - Alan had a (mental) note of the wrong time, and now wishes he hadn't said anything!

In the past, back to back with Borrowdale, I found it hard enough!!!
To be a fell race that is.... or I'm I confusing it with Latrigg..?
