Scramble the rock face through the glare of morning sun — to run
Route might be useful, map is on this link.

Hope this helps.
It's a great race flagged normally - all on runnable track and trod until after the nasty climb up Pule Hill!
Lots of big grass tussocks across the top on the way down to the track where the race starts.
The spread laid on in the cricket club after makes it all worth while!
Details are all up on the Holmfirth Harriers website.
I should warn you that it has been changed a little since last year, particularly the finish. This makes the race slightly longer, hillier and rougher underfoot.
See you all at the weekend.
my first proper fell race since last November

All I can remember from last year was the blizzard that started just as the race started. It was blooming cold all way round. I'm sure that this was the first race where I have worn a jacket!
Now that I have warmed up at Windmills today, shall I have a trot out tomorrow?
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
I heard this was very good last year, all be it snow assisted! So really looking forward to a run out (and some cake, obviously).
I can guarantee cake, but not snow!
Looking forward to seeing plenty of you on the 9th March. Not much racing on that weekend, so head over to Marsden Cricket Club for some fun & frolics!
Just a reminder that you'll need to bring your full kit just in case the weather takes a turn for the worst!
Cheers,
Phil
