Buckden: Blow-by-Blow. Great article by Finlay and Dan. Its the closest I will ever get to experiencing the competition at the business end of a race.
    No country for old men.

I have only dipped into bits of the magazine so far but this article is excellent.

My only gripe is trying to read using my night light when the background is anything other than white - page 29 for example. I have had this problem with previous issues as well.

I have commented on this previously, not well suited to older readers like myself.

It no longer comes wrapped in plastic which is a good thing.

I agree. Even though I think Ben Abdelnoor is a superbly innovative and stylish writer, on this occasion I think this is actually the most interesting piece in the magazine.

And a delightful surprise to read something completely new after 133 issues.

It's arrived. Nice to see "The FRA Forum fights back" (pp. 102-106.

There's also an article about Matthew Atkinson, titled "The Racing Mathematician". I would quibble with one word of that title: "The", which implies that there is only one. Fell racing mathematicians go back at least to Professor John Marstrand of Bristol University, who I believe was the first ever British M50 Fell Running Champion.
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

Indeed Anthony and obviously this was noticed by the person who critiqued the piece but after lengthy consideration he concluded that there was a clearly implied sub-heading of "as far as the future of the LCT is concerned" which would have been too prolix to include - so he let the solecism pass.

    Aww. RIP Nellie.

The Fellrunner is as brilliant and inspirational as ever. From Charlie to Peak Age I have loved all that I have read so far.

Good that the forum got a mention although a little bird told me that some members had their arm twisted .....

The only article that confused me was a strange one about running round and getting lost in India ????

The postman hasn't delivered mine yet, so yet to see if my words made the cut... although speaking only for myself, i volunteered my services without any arm-twisting required!
