    Come to think of it, there used to be a lovely cairn on Ilkley Moor near to where the stones have been deliberately scattered all over the little footpath. So it seems that those who lay down paving slabs also destroy cairns. When an attempt was made to rebuild the cairn it was knocked down again.- a bit like someone kicking over a sandcastle on the beach...

    During the Langdale Horseshoe race (which was great!) these bags - sadly - were still there. What was even more disheartening was that they are crumpled and soggy now just like huge versions of the dog poo bags....
