Due to Netto putting 25p on a bottle of wine and therefore doubling the cost per bottle and consequently meaning he will have less spare prizes to take home (well he is a fell pony). Brett is not promoting Kildwick fell race, therefore it will not be taking place tonight at 7.30, a full set of kids races will not take place at 6.30, it will not be starting from the Recreation ground which is not next to the White Lion public house and you will not be able to enjoy a nice pint afterwards.

It is happening (unless he decides to fall out with the pub landlord - an occupational hazard with Brett) - he just doesn't want anyone to know about it, he spent half the time at Lothersdale chuntering about too many runners turning up or something.

Bugger - I was coming but changed plans when I thought the race wasn't on . I won't have access to my car early enough now so I'll go Settle Harriering instead.... which is probably a god send given how much I suffer in short up and downers.
