You and Mrs Crowhill doing Holme Moss ?? it is a counter this year.

Any luck with a number for Borrowdale yet ??
Toying with the idea of Holme Moss - it's a top race, so it's tempting.
No luck with Borrowdale number yet .

Enjoy your trip - hope you get some decent walking weather, cheers.

Will I be able to get hold of a map on the day?

There's a route map on the website to download and print - don't know if the organisers will allow this for navigation on the day though?

    Phew...
That turned into a bit of a grueller. How was it for you?

Many thanks to Holmfirth Harriers, the organisers, the marshalls and what a great spot to base the race - must be the highest cricket pitch in Yorkshire!
Well organised, they even laid on extra water at checkpoints for us sweating, hot and very bothered runners (well, I ran some of the time!). We had it bad both ways really, clear skies and sun with very heavy going underfoot. Still, I suppose it beats getting the compass out...

Right, these dogs need a good walk now having been in all day...

Thanks to Holmfirth Harriers for a well organised event. Somehow you arranged for summer to return so it was pleasant to sit about chatting to mates after the race. I did not appreciate the heat while running but the water at the various checkpoints was most welcome. It certainly felt a long way back to the finish.
