I'm sick of this small scale lefty liberal hippy crap. Get with the times! My dog's got more ambition than some who post on here, and he's tied up all day!
Will the land sustain all the extra bodies?
Will the land owners want it?
Will the race orgainsers want it?
Do the other members want it?

We saw what the press could do at the OMM weekend

May be it you who should be tied up all day not your dog Bob

BOB: You are either a wind-up merchant (get a life) or you are a COMPLETE AND UTTER TOSSER. Could you please tell us all which is the real you.

Either way you are wasting our time and making me think "why do I bother looking at this forum when stuff like this gets posted?"

If you have too much spare cash (£75 subs!!!) why not give it to charity (but don't tell anyone about it or you would be behaving like a tosser again).

    Best wishes,

    KEITH

Well said Stagger (and parky for his posting)

That should be '#bob#' & not 'Bob' who should be tied up though

That said I'm inclined to agree with Margarine in thinking #bob# might be a WUM

    Relax Parky,
#Bob# only exists in someones imagination. It seems that dual personalities are common around here and the lovely #Bob# is a Mr Hyde to a sensible persons Dr Jekyl.
Also, his avatar looks like the portly survilalist Ray Mears, could the two be related?

The point I was making is still valid. Why bother posting such time-wasting crap in the first place? How sad is it than someone should go to the bother of making up such rubbish just to make some sort of a joke? This is supposed to be a forum about general fell running issues. If the person behind #bob# wants to say that the Magazine is great and shouldn't be messed about with why can't he just say so? Why the need to have a picture of fatboy Ray Mears? Say what you mean and mean what you say.

    Best wishes,

    KEITH

    Re: FRA membership fee

You only have to go on other forums (UK Climbing is one) where there are lots of posters like #bob#. Seems to go with the territory I'm afraid. Generally known as trolls, best to ignore them (even though I didn't in a post above).

Fortunately the noise level on these forums is pretty low and it doesn't get in the way of mostly useful advice that you get here.
