If any one has any Trophies from last year can they make sure they return them in time for prize giving.

Andy, Tom Brunt won last year, not sure if we have this back yet. If not any one know Tom that can pick it up.

I went for a gentle plod around Bleaklow today, not a recce just out for the incredible views, thick cloud out over Glossop and manchester but nothing above. You coud see the hills in North wales above the clouds and I think you could see Pendle.

Saw a Brocken Spectre coming down Torside. Out for four hours but no idea how far i went but to be honest I don't care, stunning. Visited three air craft wrecks but failed to find the tea plant above Sykes moor.

Saw three lone runners out checking thier routes, two from Dark Peak and saw one other cuting off Torside about 2.30 but he was too far away to say hi.

Probably Bluebike not knowing you have sussed him.
Good sport while it lasted though.
Thanks for the invite this am, and, yes would have loved to have been out with you, but had previous commitments.
Grand bike ride with daughter and her dogs.
Sent you an email along with others involved with Tanky's.
Did you receive, if not ask Brent to forward it.
To everyone reading, be sensible next weekend, dont scrimp on gear, depending on the forecast, or you will not run the race.
Everyone that starts needs to finish, one way or the other, safely and in one piece.
After the farsce of the OMM media coverage, we cannot afford to attract bad press. The race is a serious undertaking, people that have run it several times may be getting a little complacent with the event, that is the time when it will to bite us where it hurts.
Go out, run and "enjoy" it.
A little extra incentive, every finisher, thanks to IanDP, will get a bottle of Bradfield Brewery Farmers Pale Ale for your efforts, labelled up Rescue Ale.
ENJOY , that is the name of our game for 99.9% of competitiors.

Hi there - I was wondering about returning the trophy. I can easily drop it off in Penistone next week - it's pretty much on the way home from work for me.

Am I right in thinking that the new organizer is a resident of that fair town?

Anyway let me know what you want me to do to get the trophy back. With a bit of luck the weather will be like today - stunning up on Kinder.

    Regards,

    Tom

Daz, a map of IDP's route isn't enough, you have to have experienced it. It also helps to have seen and recorded the little kicks of the compass needle as he skirts one obstacle after another.
