did you see what I did there......

Sorry I appreciate this is boring to everyone else, will stop now. Graham if you are at Lothersdale later can we have a chat about the political impact of Jan and Dean on contempory culture .
Sure. Short chat I suggest. (One of the (paid) pieces I had published in NME when I was still at school was on Eddie Cochran. Now there was a talent!)

I once saw what I was told was the authenticated (by the Dr concerned) toe tag from Eddie Cochrans body after he died, and the coat the farmer put over him whilst they waited for the ambulance and the police arrived (yes I know it was Dave Jones of Dave Dee etc). This was in a now gone Bristol pub called the "The springer" there was a plaque to Eddie on the wall and pub regulars (it was a "Ted" pub) travelled out to Chippenham each anniversary for a service at the crash site.

I also worked with a charge nurse who lived next door to the taxi driver who drove the night he died, he reckoned Eddie offered him £5 to hurry up and so he could catch an earlier flight and it was too much money to turn down! Also my cleaning lady went to his last concert at the Bristol Hippodrome. As he died 4 years before i was born the nearest I got to him was once standing next to Jo Brown who played guitar on the last tour.

Merrylegs you beat me by about 20 seconds or so, I had my Santa hat on as well, which may have upset some people being beaten by Santa's, but we were both beaten by a big Fairy, the wings may have helped her, not that I am saying she is BIG, but by Fairy standrads she was big. I think Emm is getting faster training on that Stanner Stairlift thing.

PS Emm thanks to your technical help I have now got the time!!!

Hey up BG, good run eh! Remember the fairy flying past me, she fell over in a bog and some quick witted person quipped 'That's one of your wishes gone'
