Some blokes chasing a ball? Would that be that game where 20 blokes chase a bladder of wind around a meadow?

There's obviously a good sense of community on this forum but i don't really know anyone outside of it and might spend the whole day in my little shell until i get some booze down me and then start singing . I could manage one of Softie's CTJM do's but despite not wanting to miss a night out in a new town like Keswick i might end up landing myself in my own personal claustrophobic hell and spend most of the day stood or sat around with my arms folded, which is apparrently a defensive body stance and i do it a lot!

If someone could lavish upon me the details then i've got everything i need to make up my mind. Sorry for not reading back my tea's in the oven and i've got to go to the gym soon, my body is a temple
The run is a social thing and noone gets left behind (don't start on him again ) Most people on the first one didn't know each other and that tends to be how a lot of recces start but it's not long before you have met a whole heap of new people all with their own individual quirks - you'll fit right in with the arm folding

We are meeting in Keswick but the run is starting from Scales at 11am. Amex know's the distance - roughly, but it can be tailored to suit as per 2007 when we were on hellvelyn in god know's what god awful temperature...in fact you can read a bit about it here...

    http://alanlucker.blogspot.com/2008/...ells-2007.html

after the run it's a quick scrub up and back out to the pub then onto the curry house for 7. Amex has already booked that so fear not on that score he'll just ring nearer the time to confirm numbers. Then it's onto the nightclub for a well whatever....I didn't get that far last time

Cheers Emmi, i'm going to bob Amex a PM on the distance issue as my knee will not be fully recovered by then for sure and it'll be pain that stops me rather than exhaustion. Hope you don't think i'm too much of a drip, i just hate being outside my comfort zone.

Oh I see? So you reckon my runs are the easy option do ya? I see. That's noted Mr Brightside.

If you turn up to one, I'll make sure it's a proper beasting.

Only need the one: Pendle. A carefully chosen route round there and you'll know about it. Hope you get to find out someday.
