Good to hear Stef!Happy New Year! xxx
Damn bother damn bother damn
I've come home to a letter from the hospital. Latest test results have come back positive and nearly three weeks to wait for a consultation - no treatment offered as standard proceedure this time
How the heck am I going to avoid going insane waiting?
A gentle but stern reminder. Please, any ladies out there who haven't kept up with the dreaded smear - get it booked in now and any guys reading this, please make sure the ladies in your life don't miss theirs.
Stef
You've got to wait 3 WEEKS! Can't imagine what you're going through Stef - try to keep as busy as possible and stay positive (easy for us to say, I know.) Thank god you weren't one of those women who ignored their smear test invites.
We are all thinking of you.
xx
Thanks Ms T
I was one of those who ignored the invites - I'd been working away from home for years and it was inconvenient to go plus I hate the personal invasion of the proceedure.I had the test done when I moved to Southampton and changed my GP - I'm very very glad I did.
I phoned the hospital and have managed to get a cancellation appointment for this Thursday, phew. Three weeks to wait after a 6 week wait for the results was just too much. I was in the realms of fairy land doing silly things like making coffee with cold tap water!![]()
I'm pleased you've not got long to wait. Cold coffee is not good. Fingers crossed for you.

Best of luck Stef:wink:
Yeh hope it all is ok. And very glad you have got a sooner appointment than the 3 week wait !! Yikes, that would be like an eternity!
Good news; another minor op - same as last time. Ok it isn't very nice but it could have been an awful lot worse.
So, back on the waiting list, meanwhile on on with the training
Stef
