Just thinking if theres 3 guys who haven't entered a longer fell race before, is there any reason they shouldn't run together as a team?

I think in a lot of races it would probably up to the RO to decide whether to accept "non-club" teams

champs races / FRA relays / UKA relays... er, no.

You dont always think of the team prize during the race. For me a team thing is usually the relays.

One of the great things though in a race is to be near a team mate of a similair standard with whom you can work with. A fantastic experience.

Vasque series you can enter any 'Club' name amongst friends I believe.

One of my big motivators for Tanky's is the team prize, It's been won by Dark Peak to paraphrase Federer for the last 150 thousand years and when I look at it and see the names on it I feel priviledged to have my name along side.
It is worth mentioning though that a certain club would have beaten DP this year but for Tanky's rule of first four home from a club wins prize reguardless of positional points.

Relays and Champs are where the team effort really comes together though. The rest of the time you are running for your self.
