    I Recommend Pilates

People talk about core stability. I work in the clinic on improving Athletes & the general publics core stability, I do however work along side A Pilates expert and rate Pilates as on of the best methods of core stability training around, would recommend all runners try it once a week.

    Re: I Recommend Pilates

I teach Pilates and I can second this. As a 21 year old runner a few years back, I was suffering from lower back pain. Took up Pilates, learnt it, taught it and no back problems since with hardly any injuries. I would invite you all to be classes however I very much doubt you will travel to Welwyn for a go.

How often a week would you say and how long a session and how long before you would have a relatively decent core based on the previous questions. Of course assuming teacher knows what they are doing and what qualification should we be looking for.

    Well, is it still recommended?

Turns out there's a studio just round the corner at work.
