just had a look on youtube at the other races in the series they all look good.Anyone else planning on doing the others ? I was loving the last decent its always good finishing on a down rather than uphill !
I'm also hoping to do all 7, and I think that they all finish with a descent too.
Results are now up on the gritstone series website.
I noticed a few people taking photos on the course. Are these displayed anywhere? Thanks
Just returned fropm this today, great race and thanks to organisers 'The Bradda Dads'. perfect weather and a tough climb to start. Pleased with my race as I have not really trained or run now for 3 months cos injury. managed 38th I think and a third in the Notts Champs so happy with that. Nice to meet DazH who had a good run again and Emmilou as well. junior races were great and made a real spectacle. Thanks to all.
A quick update to confirm Wolfs Pit is on - 11am Sunday 11th March. Same venue and only a slightly altered course - for the better we hope. This year see's the return of the "sting in the tail" followed by the BIG final decent.
Whilst the race starts on Malcolm's field as in previous years. High Peak Garden Centre have very kindly agreed to let us use their car park for the event -this will mean a 1/2 mile trot to the start so please allow a bit of time for this.
There's also the Junior races over a great course from the field. Under 10's fun run at 10:15 and under 16's at 10:30. This will allow the Junior races to be completed prior to the senior race starting.
We've got a bit of catering sorted as well - so hoping to make it a good day.
Have a look at the web site if you need any additional info; www.wolfspitfellrace.org.uk
I'm hoping to have a go this year if my calf ok & I dare have a go. I probably will run from home (Hathersage)
