Re: Crowden Horseshoe - 13 May

    How's the course looking now?

This is in our club championship so expect to hear alot of soft southern accents near the back of the field.

I'm suffering with both achilles and have had a cold/man flu for two weeks so should be on top form.

Hope to meet some forumites on the day.

Hope to run but putting long miles in legs tomorrow for OCT so it might be bit leisurely.

Didn't know you were doing the OCT. Who's your partner? (And don't say bread!)

it must be getting pretty wet by now. Mountain weather forecast is for heavy and widespread rain up to and including race day.

Plus - "Cloud on hills - extensive; cloud base 300 to 500m (Black Hill = 582m); chance of cloud free hills 20%"

    This will be FUN

Geoff: Andy A. Thought I was going to miss out on the egg butties this year:no - one asked me. Have to settle for a bloomin' Glossopdale Harrier: do I smell or something... errr... you don't have to answer that I think I know the answer. Don't think it's a good idea to do Jura as well though - wish they weren't so close together. Are you stilll doing it with it D.R? Looks like your training has been going well.
