without wishing to labour the point, the gelert stove is exactly the same at half the price {sigh}

Actually Zoot, having checked out your link, I'd probably have to agree. Are there any differences between the two at all? They look almost identical. I only added that link because of the Titan Kettle (which IS a great piece of kit) combo deal...

I got a pocket rocket. The Alpkit My TI mug goes well with it. After a years hard use, I'm thinking about having a spare ready. The gelert looks just the job.

Small Trangia, simple. If you compare to other stoves dont forget you have to factor in pots, a stove is no good without something to cook in

Deffo the Gelert, i have used mine for 3 mountain marathons and weekends away camping light. Most people would not buy one due to snobbery?

Coleman micro thingy from Yeomans and an old baked beans can. Stove fits inside with a panhandle and lighter and teabgas/powdered milk. Can fits inside one of those blue mugs with handle cut off. Err could have been tomatoes.

well I dunno, maybe the pocket rocket is more powerful, but I doubt it. Gelert somehow manage to pull off quality kit in general at lower prices. Often with lightweight kit you've got to splash the cash, in this case I think it's possible to save a few bob.
