Since I grew up in this neck of the woods it appears interesting. Why have the long route run along the promenade at Grange though?
Any entries on the day?
I'm not committing to any races in mid-September as my elder daughter, The Tussockmaiden, is due to give birth to granddaughter number 1 on 13th September!
I quite like the idea of the promenade run, as we've had several happy family holidays in Grange, and many years ago I did a road race that ended there. It'd be fun to revisit, although I concede that it's not exactly fell terrain.
Yes, there are entries on the day.
I know it's not fell terrain but i thought some fell runners use these kind of events as training runs or even an excuse for a little trot out....
...I thought that a short section along the prom prom prom would be better than a stretch on the road. It's the best way to get from Hampsfell to Humphrey head.
Sounds great and I know the calendar is full but why pick the same day as the LDMT?
