Interesting! That's likely to be covering at least some of the same ground as this year's Saunders, and the Mountain Trial next week is starting from Kentmere. Permissions must be easy(er) round that way.

I'm in anyway. It was a great event last year.

I thought permissions were harder round there - there were huge areas out of bounds when the KIMM was in the area in 2005, and the didn't the Saunders this year have to change their courses due to last minute withdrawal of permissions?

Anyway, I'm in, though still injured so will probably end up treating it as a fun walking weekend.

Well, maybe... there just seems to be a lot of stuff going on there. Day 1 of the recent Lakes 5 Days was on Swindale (adjacent to Haweswater) too.
