may be they were more rested or knew they had something to prove.

Either way why can't they attack when they get the ball. Slow build up play is wrong for England, they make a silly mistake and it costs us. when they are running at teams like they did tonight they could beat the best. Just after the second they sat back and I thought here we go again....

The penultimate 20 minutes they just attacked and we could have scored more.

Well done England , not one of them had a bad game and most had a good one.

Maybe the absence of Terry and Lampard is significant as they are 2 players that got picked regardless.

The balance of the team was fine today, and Ok the opposition wasn' the best, but evveryone did what they had to do.

Hart in goal clearly makes a difference as well. The lad looks confident and competant.
