Does anyone know when the 2011 KWL race programme will be published?

I've just heard from the last landowner on the list so will be publishing it shortly on the Helm Hill Runners website.

It is the same races in the same order as last year's fixtures.

I think I'll try and take part in a few of these, I'm not a member of any club because I work evenings and clubs usually train in the evening. But I think I'll try and do a few races anyway. Does anyone know the distances for the races?

It would be good to see you there. I've never gone out and measured them but I'm sure there'll be someone somewhere who has been round with a gps so could give you the distance to the inch. They are planned to be about 30 mins for the winner which means that the last person is back in an hour or so.

The flat cross countries are Birkrigg and Sedbergh School
Middling ones are Scout Scar, Firbank, Whitestones, Fell End Clouds and Austwick.
The good steep ones are Fairmile, Barbon, Cautley, Elterwater and Arant Haw.

Keep firing the questions in if you want more detail.

Look good, Il make sure I get along to some of these - do you have the route drawn on a map at the start on the day or is it more a case of follow your nose/directions/flags?

It would be good to see you there. All are well flagged so route finding is never an issue.
