No idea, the sound kept cutting out as well, then I got bored and went to walk the dog.

    Re: Todays Bike Ride

I view of a looming Three Peaks Cyclocross race and the road racing about to come to an end, I decided to take the crosser out this morning... Tried shouldering it, which I can just about do with my dicky separated shoulder, as long as I do it carefully and not swing it over my shoulder... I also rode a trail I found quite hard last year when I last rode it and this time I hurtled down it without trouble. Those two MTB trail centre sessions must be doing something then

Dont forget you can strap some of that pipe lagging to your top tube to help if it hurts your shoulder. And a thought but try using your other shoulder to carry your bike. It will seem weird at first but a few goes and you will get use to it.

I tinkered with the bike last night. New saddle, well old comfy one of an old road bike, but new to the crosser, put the saddle up a couple of cms too and forward a little. I also dropped the handlebar stem from facing upwards to facing downwards, so the bars are slightly lower. Put pipelagging back on top and down tube to protect my shoulder and off I went for another little practise ride. Much better! especially the shouldering. I did think about using my other shoulder... must give that a try next time!
