Booked the 5th off to come along for this. Whos is the course record of 11.06? It looks like they sometimes change the route resulting in 16m winning times, but a couple of times the finisher has been in the high elevens.
Not sure who that record belong to. We don't often do the short route as it doesn't take much water in the river to make it too deep. The extra 5 minutes is going over the bridge.

Aah, cheers Alastair. Are you finding the time for another champs win this year? Looking at the standings you can beat Ted by 6 points if you win the next 4 counters on the trot, but you'd have to beat him at Burnsall to do that.
Nice little race that, found myself in the lead until we crossed the river and i didn't know which route through the farm, it's fun being in the lead and not getting held up at known bottlenecks. As soon as the hills began it was like i was going backwards the rate they were coming past me. I think Muker is one of those courses i'd prefer to run backwards. Good show aswell, i was given a large potato in the produce tent at the end which i had for tea.
