    Re: Gritstone Tryal

Has anyone ever posted a GPS of their route of any of these events?
I've searched google and mapmyrun to no avail
I finally look like I might make this year's event on my 4th attempt. Would be interested to see what sort of route/ how many controls etc

I don't know, but I sent my form off a while back & haven't heard anything since. It looks like a good event though.

Thought I was a cert to make it this year, but going to have to wait until next year before I bag this one. I can vouch for the course though - challenging but some beautiful sights as always along the way.

Found this: http://<iframe frameborder="0" margi...=mi"></iframe> which appears to be a GPS of a competitor in the 2008 event

Looks good, looking forward to it.

Anyone any other tips, bearing in mind the change of venue every year?

Well I haven't done the event before, but I think I'll be taking my Aldi altimeter.

Is it ok to enter on the day or ring up RO? Mudclaws or something a little less harsh?

Unexpectedly at home this weekend so may pop out!
