Heptonstall Festival is fully flagged - but don't let that stop you doing a recce - you can find the recce map on www.heptonstallfestivalrace.org.uk
Watch out there is only a very fient trod most of the way round the loop around High Brown Knoll, plus the first and last 1km in Heptonstall will he be across private land (so will be an additional loop on the day) farmers fields are waist deep in grass as we havent had 2 consecutive dry days for a month! Lets hope we can get them cust asap. Thanks for the 3P tshirt Mart!

I hope you've not wearing yourself out with your Herculean number of races Trig (actually, wear yourself out as much as you like so I've got a chance of passing you on the final climb!). Are you out at Cragg Vale tomorrow?

I did indeed - Moel y Gamelin. It's an enjoyable one (and I took about 8 mins off my time from last year.) Good 'scree-y' practise for the drop off Scafell. See you at this evening - repellent applied!

Good running tonight Mr Daniels - I must finally be getting back my fitness to have kept you a bay - saw you in my rear view mirror at Dicks Lane and thought you had me

I'll catch you one day Steve! You're running well.I'm hoping to 'have you' a week on Saturday (I think it was the final hill that I got you on last year . Nice to see Mr Cavey out and racing again after his dramatic injury in February.

Lets hope the RO can run (just need to find an injured deputy)
In the meantime I will be training hard just in case (16.30 from White Lion tonight for anyone who might be up for quick spin round the route)
THE PROFILE is below if you missed Jedi's earlier post - High Brown Knoll is 120-40 feet higher than stoodley so you get over 1000 feet climb up there, plus 500 feet back to Heptonstall all squeeezed into 6 miles

    Route map is on wwww.heptonstallfestivalrace.org.uk

Trig, can you send a link/publish the actual race day route yet? I seem to remember that the actual route and the race day route vary a bit due to land-owner permissions etc? I'm hoping I haven't ruined myself yesterday and I'll be able to at least hobble the route...
