Had a fantastic 3 days of racing. Looking forward to doing it again next year without taking the wrong path on the Tittiman... though I studied the map I got carried away.
I share your pain Damien... I must have been running in the same group as you, and also took the 'alternative' route to the finish of the Tittiman! Kicking myself why I didn't just stop, turn round, and get back on the right route - it would have taken a few minutes, but better than a DNF, especially after running all 3!

Hi Rich, I can now put a name to the face, you pipped me on Reservoir bogs as I went over on my ankle.
Did think about turning round and completing it, but thought I will just have to have a crack at it next year.

Nothing like a bit of unfinished business to get the fire burning...

Cheers Damien, yep I remember seeing you rolling about on the floor, hope there was no lasting damage.
If a year is long enough for me to forget the pain I might also have to return to finish the job properly..!

It was good to meet you too Rich - and congratulations on becoming a forumite and fellow MSM -DSQ (although I chose reservoir bogs to self destruct)

I'll be there but participation will be limited due to fractured collar bone sustained at Helvellyn & the Dodds. Hope to do the Reservoir Bogs - early start, take it slow but hopefully not as slow as last year!

Every time i praise the wonderment's of this weekend as "the best ever race weekend" i get injured and miss it so i will say``` i am not attending``` i have no intention of even thinking about this weekend```` nor will i even try and run this excellent weekend race event```` nor will i book Monday off work! never ever ever ever ever
