Moneyball with Brad Pitt. Easily the best sports film I've ever seen apart from maybe the Damned United. Both as good as each other in fact and both true stories really well told.

Another absolutely brilliant sports film watched: Friday Night Lights. Also based on a true story.

Finally got round to seeing the new Bond movie. For once I had avoided all the adverts and what happens at the end so it was all new! I enjoyed it, it ticked all the Bond boxes for me :thumbup:

Humour was spot on,
Moneypenny: "I just lost my wing mirror"
Bond: "Don't worry you weren't using it anyway"

I did record it onto the hard-drive-recorder-thingy as well as watch it, but have no idea what gadget/software I'd need to get a copy off

it was shown in 1.85, but in better quality than the 2.35 bootleg DVD transfer from the laserdisc version that I already had
