Promised I'd run with Helen and she's a bit panic-stricken about start times, so I think I'm sort of tied to kicking off around 0715, but I will put it to her that it might be nice to start with Geoff. Suppose you are coming up and registering on the day? We are staying in Pooley Bridge and intend to register on the Friday night. See you at the start no matter what (and the end of course!).

He sending me for an ultrasound scan, & if it confirms his diagnosis it'll be a cortisone injection. I can't see that happening before the end of next week, somehow.
Sorry to hear you are having problems Andy. I was beginning to think you weren't human the way you romp round these long ones every week! I hope it clears up soon.

Dont forget on Saturday for the TdH to check your kit now. Torch, Survival Bag (not blanket) and rest of hill kit to help with keeping your SMJ. I will be more strict than just checking "whats on your butty". Please be patient as we have a lot more entrants this year. Keep an eye on the weather for the weekend and enjoy the day. Thanks see you on saturday (Stumpy )

    Re: Tour de Helvellyn

After being spoilt for the past two years, the forecast for Saturday is 'dire-bollock-all'. In addition to the obvious kit, don't forget your snorkels and make sure you're well lubricated against chafing for a day of wetness. I'll be taking spare socks and gloves as well. Now bring it on if you please.

Updated Tracklogs maps are printed out. Don't tell anyone but the total distance comes out at 37 miles.
