WILD Wild Boar at one point I was running as hard as I could and not moving forwards but backwards! (mental), fast deccent with the wind at ur back! massive thanks to all the marshalls n helpers in those conditions and a well organised race shame I couldn't make the prize giving tho.

    Thanks for the pics Mick.
What a race! talk about a speedy descent with that wind on your back. Fantastic stuff. Even won a T shirt. Great day out. Thanks to Debbie, Gary and all the marshalls/ helpers involved.

The results are available on the FRA Facebook page, I have also sent them to Brett so they should appear on the FRA website in the not too distant future.

Many thanks to everyone that took part on what was truly a wild day! We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. The provisional date for next year is Saturday 1st November.

We hope you all have an excellent Christmas and a happy New Year.

It's a great race, Debbie, and i very much appreciate the effort in getting over to put it on and all that. I've been wanting to try a 3rd route off the summmit for a number of years now but haven't made it up, lets see what happens this time!

Think I've 'tried ' a different route every time I've done it! Brilliant race!

Looking forward to this years race, hoping the weather will be kind being a little earlier.

Intrigued by a 3rd route option off the summit. Gary says from the trig point go straight down, then keep left along the ridge line, making sure you are not tempted to drop into the valley, he becomes a bit evasive at this point at says 'at some point' turn right and drop straight down to the checkpoint at the bridge. He claims there are no big bogs or reed sections if you follow his advice... Having said that he did manage to get lost on the summit plateau one year..!
