Just realised this when I was pencilling in a few events for next year, saw it wasnt in Fixtures Handbook. How come its not under FRA?

There is a debate going on (did you see the Safety Rules thread debate which got closed?) and Wynn feels that the ROs Pack of documents as it was at the time we were asked to permit was not appropriate and compromised ROs.
As far as I am aware, Wynn is still of that opinion despite the minor tweaks to the 2014 Safety Requirements and the most recent changes made to the Safety Check list.

I e-mailed Wynn a few weeks back and she confirmed the AW is going ahead, online entries open sometime in January
Forgot to ask about TWA but assume the same applies

    Cheers for that.

Interesting post on the main FRA website: "Members who may consider entering these events should note that they have not been registered with the FRA and are not covered by UKA Insurance."

No mention at all of why it isn't. Surely if it's going to be commented on at all then the reason should be given?

Anyway, on a similar subject: Is there a date that entries will be open? Sorry, I'm just being impatient!

Entry information can be found on the race website http://www.anniversarywaltz.co.uk/?page_id=137 where it's made quite clear that it isn't registered or insured through the FRA.

Note added later - I have been informed that the relevant page on the website has been removed for updating. The entry information was from 2013 although it did include a statement for 2014 about not being registered or insured through the FRA.

Note added later - the relevant page on the website appears to have disappeared in the last few minutes but presumably will return soon.
I'll be keeping an eye for that, oh yes

The missing entry page was saying 2013, so I assume Wynn is having it updated

We're all staying in Newlands that weekend, so they'll be about 20 Sale Harriers participating in it. Great race, wouldnt want it being removed from the calendar.
