And in the mean time? How does the NHS work?

The UK takes in 1000's of qualified Dr's a year from India, Pakistan and South Africa alone..

So you stop them? Then what?

You just have not thought this through... just no actual policies.. Its the UKIP way.. It just stands up to no real scrutiny..

Here Brightside, have your cake and eat it...
Being out of the EU means we can close our borders which will give time to process applications in backlog. New applicants would need visas- why would applications already submitted change?

The notion of the NHS being 'propped up' by foreign workers has always been yours.

Who said anything about any training costing people money?

    Coffee cake please.

Meanwhile, a UKIP councillor elected last week in Redditch has been suspended by the party after comments about non-whites and gays.

The first of several, I suspect

Did you even read the guardian article?

So you now oppose the view that the NHS is not propped up by immigrants?

Yet we import 1000's of Dr's a year.. why do that then?

And yes.. training costs people money...

So hold on... if we are in the EU those immigrants aren't pressuring the immigration service as they need no visa's... so how does this make any sense at all?

Stop them, deal with the backlog, admit skilled migrants into positions which cannot be filled with UK citizens. No free entry, not to anyone.

Why do you keep spinning me round in circles? You are aware of my angle. Are you trying to confuse me into falling on my sword so you can have the moment? I've clearly stated my position, do we have anything new to discuss?

So who does the work? Why do we need to import 1000's of Dr's. you stop that, you have a failing NHS?

    Do you dispute that?

Did you read the Guardian link?

Why are we going round in circles, Iain?

This wouldn't happen under UKIP, and will persist with any and all the main 3.
